I remember talking about it with my sister when I was in the fifth grade in 1999. I think the nineties saw the most uses of the clip..I didn't hear it for a few years but I've recently started noticing it again. I've actually been meaning to google it for years now to see if anyone else had noticed it. I'm glad I'm not alone! The overuse of this sound clip is not a recent phenomenon. I think Toyota Sienna commercial where the dad finished the treehouse and the kids would rather stay in the van uses that clip. There's ton of other one's but I can't think of any.
